Head of Metal Finance — Vedanta Limited (Aluminium Business)

Job Summary: Step into a high-impact leadership role at India’s largest aluminum producer. As the Head of Metal Finance, you will drive financial excellence, cost optimization, and strategic controllership for a multi-billion dollar manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and analysis for the Aluminium business unit.

• Analyze manufacturing costs and operational variances to drive high-level cost leadership strategies.

• Liaise with executive leadership to provide financial insights that influence capital expenditure and metal pricing decisions.

• Maintain rigorous internal controls and statutory compliance in a complex manufacturing environment.

• Support the commercial team in commodity risk management and hedging strategies.

• Oversee month-end closing, financial reporting, and consolidated audit processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must-haves: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA); 8+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry (Metals/Mining preferred).

• Preferred: Experience in a large-scale industrial conglomerate; exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
