Job Summary: Take the helm of the financial department for a premier UAE-based shipping firm. This role requires a specialist who understands the unique financial nuances of vessel chartering, maritime laws, and international freight accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute specialized accounting for shipping operations, including voyage accounting and chartering revenue.

  • Analyze bunker costs, port expenses, and vessel operating expenditures (OPEX).

  • Liaise with international maritime banks and charterers for payment reconciliations and funding.

  • Maintain compliance with UAE VAT and international maritime tax regulations.

  • Coordinate with technical managers to track vessel-related financial performance and dry-docking budgets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must-haves: Qualified CA; Mandatory experience in Shipping & Chartering; Currently based in the UAE.

  • Preferred: 5+ years in the Maritime/Freight industry.
