Job Summary
ICSI is looking for an Executive (Academics) to support regulatory monitoring, policy research, stakeholder coordination, and BFSI-related academic and professional initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional who can work with regulatory updates, prepare clear notes and submissions, and support high-level meetings and institutional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Track notifications, circulars, consultation papers, regulations, and policy updates from RBI, SEBI, IFSCA, IRDAI, IBA, NSE, BSE, CDSL, NSDL, and other authorities.
- Compile regulatory updates, briefs, summaries, and analytical notes for senior officers.
- Assist in research on banking, insurance, capital markets, corporate governance, and financial sector developments.
- Draft comments, representations, responses, policy submissions, discussion papers, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with regulators, financial institutions, stock exchanges, depositories, industry bodies, and professional associations.
- Support leadership meetings by preparing briefing notes, agenda papers, presentations, and follow-up records.
- Provide secretarial and coordination support for committees, advisory forums, and working groups.
- Assist in seminars, conferences, webinars, workshops, roundtables, and professional development programmes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-haves
- Graduate degree in Commerce with ACS / ACA / ACMA, or a postgraduate degree in Economics, Commerce, Management, or Law with 50% marks
- Minimum 5 yearsβ experience
- Strong knowledge of regulatory affairs, research, and policy support
- Good written communication and documentation skills
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management ability
- Proficiency in computer applications and MS Office
Preferred
- Experience in BFSI, capital markets, corporate governance, regulatory institutions, or professional bodies
- Exposure to committee support, consultation drafting, and policy advocacy
- Ability to prepare concise notes, reports, and presentations for senior management
- Experience in organizing events, webinars, or knowledge programmes
