Job Summary: Take the helm of the financial department for a premier UAE-based shipping firm. This role requires a specialist who understands the unique financial nuances of vessel chartering, maritime laws, and international freight accounting.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute specialized accounting for shipping operations, including voyage accounting and chartering revenue.

Analyze bunker costs, port expenses, and vessel operating expenditures (OPEX).

Liaise with international maritime banks and charterers for payment reconciliations and funding.

Maintain compliance with UAE VAT and international maritime tax regulations.

Coordinate with technical managers to track vessel-related financial performance and dry-docking budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must-haves: Qualified CA; Mandatory experience in Shipping & Chartering; Currently based in the UAE.

Preferred: 5+ years in the Maritime/Freight industry.
