About the Role

CA Mohit Vijay & Associates is looking for an Experienced Accountant to join its growing team in Uttam Nagar, New Delhi. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who have strong practical experience in bookkeeping, GST, TDS, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and accounting software.

The selected candidate will work closely with experienced Chartered Accountants while handling client accounting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial compliance assignments across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
• Handle TDS calculations, return filing, and reconciliations.
• Assist in Income Tax compliance and related documentation.
• Maintain statutory records and compliance documentation.

Client & Reporting

• Coordinate directly with clients for accounting data and documentation.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
• Support audit assignments and regulatory compliance work.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience as an Accountant in a CA firm or corporate finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • GST
  • TDS
  • Bookkeeping
  • Financial Statements
  • Bank Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client coordination abilities.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in a Chartered Accountant firm.
• Exposure to audit support and statutory compliance.
• Working knowledge of accounting automation or cloud-based accounting software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MIS reporting.
