Job Summary

JACKY BATRA & ASSOCIATES is looking for an experienced Accountant to support accounting, taxation and compliance work for its professional-services and client portfolio. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with strong practical knowledge of bookkeeping, GST, TDS, advance tax and accounting software who want broader exposure to audit, reporting and financial compliance.

The firm has established experience across Audit & Assurance, Taxation, Regulatory Compliance, GST, Internal Audit, Stock Audit, Due Diligence and financial reporting for listed and unlisted entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and review day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Prepare and support GST and TDS compliance requirements.
• Assist with advance tax-related accounting and compliance work.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and MIS as required.
• Support audit assignments by providing accounting records and required documentation.
• Coordinate on accounting and compliance requirements with clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good working knowledge of GST, TDS and Advance Tax.
• Proficiency in Tally.
• Good command of MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and core accounting processes.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet compliance deadlines.

Preferred

• Prior experience in a Chartered Accountant firm.
• Exposure to audit and tax-related assignments.
• Experience working with multiple clients or accounting assignments.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
