This Article Assistant Internal Audit Mumbai role is a full-time ICAI Articleship position that delivers immediate hands-on exposure to Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, Internal Controls, Control Testing, and Regulatory Compliance for listed entities, MNCs, and large corporates. Perfect for CA Foundation cleared / CA Intermediate (Both Groups) freshers and transfer cases seeking steep learning, client-facing experience, and fast-track growth in Risk Advisory & Internal Audit practice in Mumbai.

Job Highlights

• Position: Article Assistant – Internal Audit (CA Articleship)
• Location: Mumbai (Mumbai-based candidates only)
• Experience: 0-2 years (Freshers & Transfer cases welcome)
• Qualification: CA Foundation / CA Intermediate (Both Groups) – ICAI Articleship eligible

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based Internal Audits and Operational Audits for diverse clients as Article Assistant Internal Audit Mumbai
• Perform detailed Risk Assessment, process walkthroughs, and Internal Control evaluations
• Execute Control Testing, SOP reviews, and process optimization assignments
• Identify control gaps, fraud risks, and recommend practical business improvements
• Prepare high-quality audit working papers, documentation, and draft audit reports
• Support governance, compliance, and regulatory framework reviews (Companies Act, SEBI, etc.)
• Liaise with clients for data collection, clarifications, and discussion of observations
• Assist in financial accounting, ledger scrutiny, and full audit fieldwork execution
• Collaborate with seniors to deliver timely, high-quality Internal Audit engagements
• Contribute to fraud detection, risk advisory, and business process improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Haves

• Eligible for ICAI Articleship – CA Foundation cleared OR CA Intermediate (Both Groups)
• Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Auditing Standards & Internal Controls
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Mumbai-based and ready for immediate joining
• Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel) and Tally

Preferred

• Prior internship or exposure in a CA firm (audit/documentation)
• Basic knowledge of Risk Advisory, Fraud Detection, or Regulatory Compliance
• Familiarity with audit tools or data analytics (added advantage)
