Job Summary
Mercor is seeking senior HR professionals to build evaluation tasks for AI systems working across talent management, employee relations, compensation, organizational design, and HR compliance.
The role involves creating realistic HR scenarios, developing reference outputs, and writing evaluation rubrics that reflect how experienced HR leaders handle complex workforce decisions.
The work covers both US and international HR environments, including US employment law frameworks and international employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop realistic HR scenarios covering talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
- Build tasks across recruiting, employee and labor relations, HR compliance, employment law, and organizational development.
- Create scenarios using enterprise HR tools such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, applicant tracking systems, and compensation benchmarking platforms.
- Apply workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, and employee-relations investigation methodologies.
- Develop reference HR policies, investigation reports, compensation analyses, and organizational design proposals.
- Create evaluation rubrics that distinguish genuine senior-level HR judgment from generic or textbook responses.
- Ensure scenarios reflect the relevant employment-law and regulatory framework for the applicable track.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as an HR leader, Chief People Officer, VP/CHRO, or senior HR professional at a major organisation or HR consulting firm.
- Direct experience owning talent programs, employee relations matters, compensation design, or major workforce initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of HR tools, methodologies, and practical employment-law compliance.
- Experience handling complex people and organisational decisions at enterprise scale.
- Strong written and analytical skills with the ability to create clear, defensible HR guidance and evaluation criteria.
- Senior HR professionals with US employment-law experience or international HR expertise are encouraged to apply.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or an equivalent international HR credential is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience creating training content, evaluation frameworks, rubrics, or professional guidance is a plus.
